Hello!
We arrived in Alice Springs in Cental Australia by plane this afternoon. So far today we have both attempted to play a didgeridoo, unsuccessfully, and we have visited the reptile centre here where we held some lizards and a snake. Our tour from here and finishing in Melbourne starts tomorrow and we'll probably be offline for most of it.
Before Alice Springs we spent a few days in Cairns which was lovely. Most of our time was spent lounging by the lagoon swimming pool on the coast and having barbeques. Before we reached Cairns we spent a day around the Whitsunday islands snorkelling and lounging on the white sand beach.
It's been a while since we have uploaded any photos so we are going to try and put some up now!
Hope everyone is well.
Chris and Jenny
PS for dinner tonight we are considering the mixed grill- Kangaroo, Crocodile, Emu, Buffalo and Camel! We'll let you know how it goes!

Rita Denman Dear Christopher and Jenny, You are being proactive with the fauna, dead and alive. I hope you are not thinking of a pet snake - I wouldn't be able to 'snake sit'! You must have clocked up quite a list of sports too.Are you thinking of taking any up when you get home? It all sounds fantastic and I will enjoy the pictures. Compared to your adventure,s life here is a bit pedestrian - but we have SUN every day. Take care and enjoy the rest of your tour. Love from Grandma D.
