Sunday;; Day 20. This morning, I will be leaving Bath :( I could honestly stay here forever! I just need to find my rich husband and I'll be set! I was going to be catching a train by myself to London originally but as David discovered the other day, he has an appointment in London on Tuesday and so offers that we all go on down together on Sunday (today) to save me a trip but also to enjoy a few days together in their house in Knightsbridge. They'll go back on Tuesday while I head to Gatwick Airport on Monday night ready for an early flight to Spain! I feel very lucky that I now not only get to spend more time with them, but will be going with them again in their car and won't need to catch a train...again, so very blessed.
I really don't want to leave Bath, (did I mention that already?!) but instead I promise myself to come back before I go home for good, whenever that may be (to Australia)...On a side note, we all find it quite strange that Martyn and David have a house in Knightsbridge where I just out of coincidence spent a lot of my time when I first arrived in London. And once we arrive, I can't believe that their house literally sits behind the back of Rutland Gate which is where the Baha'i Centre is - where I went to straight from Heathrow when I first arrived 3 weeks ago! How interesting! And I must have walked past Martyn and David's house at least 4 times to go to the Centre!..
The house is beautiful. Modern and very different to their Georgian home in Bath, but still equally amazing. 4 stories with a huge kitchen at the basement level; love it! Feeling extremely blessed again for what has been opening up for me over the last week. We all conk out and relax together in the lounge.
Later, we head to get food, drinks, take the doggies around the block and then spend the evening bumming out on the couch watching the tele. A rare occasion for me to do this; it feels weird at first but I soon relax and let myself go. I catch up on my blogs and find myself writing a few poems before I head to bed for an earlyish night as tomorrow night I will be not sleeping at all thanks to my ridiculous flight time to Spain!
I can definitely say that I'm going to miss everyone that I've been staying with the last few days and throughout my journey so far. I have thoroughly treasured seeing my family and it's all been more than I could ever have imagines from the moment I landed. I can only take a big deep breath and smile for all the blessings I have had so far and hope that I continue to have the same blessings during this next chapter of my travels... I would like to take Doreen with me though lol, I just want to put her in my backpack! (She said, please do!) hehe!
Tomorrow will be my last day in England and before I know it I will be arriving in Seville, Spain for the start of a whole new type of experience. Adios for now and buenos noches (good night!)
