Ilha Grande Iguassu Falls Itaipu Dam
After a long sleepless journey on a plane full of screaming kids I arrived in Rio yesterday evening! What an amazing city... The scenery is stunning with cloud shrouded mountains surrounding it. Staying a short walk from Copacabana beach in a fairly basic hotel (def not Claridges darling) but its all good! Met the first chap in my group this morning so we ventured off for lunch then went up sugar loaf mountain which was pretty breath taking and a fitting location for my first alcoholic beverage since Sunday - I can only thank those of you in attendance that evening for my sobriety of the past 2 days ; ) About to meet the rest of the group in an hour or so, so fingers crossed for a sound bunch!

Can`t think of a better location for your first of many alcoholic beverages that you will need to partake in for research purposes of course.
