Hi guys - Glad to read all is well and that you guys are adjusting to your minimal living conditions and spanish language. Love reading your blogs and looking at your photos. Hola amigos! Como esta? I finally had a chance to check out your blogs. I am so entirely happy for you and jealous all at the same time. It looks lovely. I am having my own cultural experience here in Victoria. We have a very diverse international class and being back in the classroom is a bit of a shock. Overall, it's going great. I can't wait to hear more about your adventures in Peru. I'll do the same from the wet coast. Take care, Tina.

Hey Stacy and Shelly-
It's been great looking at all of your pictures! I feel so connected to what you're doing through them.
Not much going on here - school starts for Rob tomorrow and the kids next week. And I start Spanish class in a couple weeks - I was so excited to find a class that works with my schedule and with a great teacher! Hopefully, I'll be able to communicate con tigo en espanol luego! (I'm not even sure if that's right!)
I'm thinking of and praying for you often!
Love, Amy

What a fabulous account so far! It's really great to be able to read and see all about your adventure! I know exactly what you mean about it being like a Meave Binchy novel. She is one of my very favourite authors, and I am always hoping to be able to experience the "closeness" of communities that are so intertwined.
Take care of yourselves!

Greetings from Minnesota!
I was happy to hear you arrived safely. I forwarded your weblink to other extended family members who may be interested in hearing and seeing your adventure. What an inspiration the two of you are. A bit brave too I might add..... I am looking forward to following your adventures with this technology that is new to me. Thank you both for the education I will be receiving and the different you are attempting to make in the world around us. Lifting you both in prayer. Love, Wendy
