It's Friday afternoon and I'm heading off for a massage before we go on a little Vancouver winter interlude. You remember winter, ice-snow- freezing rain- dirt, and lets not forget cold and wind. That's all in the past a balmy 6 to 9 is waiting for us. All is good and we'll be having a drink for the both of you while we're there. We plan on doing the aquarium and lots of walking and drinking of various beverages. We miss you and hope to talk soon. Give us a call if you get a chance. February 23 or 24 would be great. We finished a wall in the crawlspace with pine tongue and groove and I had to think about Shellys' last minute projects, it made me smile. How's the foot doing? From all the walking adventures it looks like it healed ok. Take good care. I'll update you on our adventure next week. BIG KISSES. Oh, I almost forgot, The L Word is quite good this year but I think Jenny needs some serious help and Shane needs to get a real L relationshipm, the quickies are getting way too old. Ta ta for now.

Hello Girls,
You're missing out on one of those lovely cold weeks. It's -30 this morning -47 with the wind. It's expected to drop to -39 tonight and remain darn tootin' cold all week. I'm sure your renters are glad about that new furnace now. Life is just meandering along at a snails pace now that the holiday season has passed us. We 're spending most of our time cleaning and daydreaming. I have a crapload of work today so I'll say "toodle loo" for now. Hugs, love Jacky

Patagonia, Oh Ya! Now that's what I'd call a Jacky destination. The only thing missing was Gloria and I on that kayak trip. Now I'm envious, but we are going on a little adventure to B.C. the middle of Feb. We've been smoozing for the past month and now I'm ready for a little break. All is great here and from the pictures it looks like you're both smiling a lot so I'll take that as a great sign. We went to the bike show last weekend and you never know Gloria might just see herself riding her own bike when we make it down East. Missed you two on New Years Eve. I truly hope your love for each other is growing most days on this adventure of yours. Ta ta for now.
Love you both, Jacqueline

Hi Girls,
Believe it or not, I do read your website and I love looking at all of your photos! Sounds like such an amazing experience. My life is crazy with teaching full time and having Lacey to look after, but it is all worth it. I hope all is well and thanks for sharing your experiences with me!!

Happy New Year! Happy Anniversary! We, of course, had a couple of good stiff ones to celebrate the big number 2. Last night we were watching "Better than Chocolate" and realized that even though the movie was from 1999, alot has changed since then. We met a couple of new girls that are getting married this summer and they ride bikes so we're going to the motorbike show with a group this month to look around. The house is back to normal and so are my nerves. Stacy and Shelly, I miss you. Here's to adventures in the future. We so appreciate the calls.

Feliz Navidad! Hope you guys are having a wonderful Christmas fiesta! We have just finished stuffing ourselves silly and are now playing games (not the same without you!!!) We got some new games just ready to be enjoyed with you when you return (which still seems like an eternity away!) Hope your travels are going well) Unlike Nicole we still haven't got "skyped" yet. Our office has just been finished and the computer just got hooked up. Hopefully Don will have some time over the break to set up our webcam and check out skype so we can talk to you. Is there a telephone number we can call you at????
Have a super holiday...will talk to you on your anniversary (let us know where to call you...email Don as I am doing my best to avoid my work email)
We miss you and think of you often...hurry back!!!

Feliz Navidad from La Manzanilla Mexico. That is where I am spending my Christmas day this year. It is a small fishing village and the locals love their music. We were blasted with music until 4 am last night. The evening was quiet due to church services so they had to make up for it all night long. Spent a great day on the beach yesterday. Probably got too much sun. The ocean is wonderful and warm. My sisiter Brenda is down here for a couple of months and my mother who is 85 flew to Alberta and then we flew here to spend two weeks together. My other sister Donna and her husband Doug and daughter Tanya came as well. A great family gathering. Wish you the best in New Years. YOur blogs are great and interesting to read. Time for breakfast. Love Janice
