Hey up chaps! Last time i updated i had ahd a fab day cycling in Yangshuo, we had a veggie meal in a Buddist style resturant that night which was beauitful! Last day there we had a Chinese cookery class and learnt 4 different dishes, it bounced it down all day that day thunder, lightening the works. So we had a quiet afternoon before getting a bus back to Guilin for our final overnight train. Bye bye mainland China!! We arrived in Shenzhen about 11.00 an went through the formallities to cross the boarder toHong Kong. We stayed in Kowloon but i only had the afternoon to explore as i flew to Thailand the next day so we did Temple market which i spent too much money in (oops), a beautiful garden/city park and the light show in Victoria Bay. Been the last night a few beers insued at the night market. So back to today this morning i packed up my bag and had to say goodbye to the group i won't deny it i was fighting back the tears i will miss them all terribly especially Helen it was the end of 6 weeks living with each other and out of each others pockets! We all had a big group hug and then i had to get the airport bus. My flight was delayed by 3/4 of an hour but nothing major. Arrived in Bangkok about 5ish (3 hours ago!!) got a taxi from teh airport to the hotel and checked in. I am smack bang in the middle of Khao San road, there are loads of people about but just a quick walk to find some tea then have come back to the hotel to update. It is currently 7.30 at night, 34 degrees with 59% humidity i am melting! So i am having an ice cold beer to combat the heat then a shower to wash away my sins! I have 4 days on my own now but i think i will be doing very little lol! This is my rest bite before my next trip starts on the 4th April. But Im here Im well, bring in on! xxxx
