23rd January

Today sadly we woke up to clouds in the sky, but this didn't stop us! We went for a walk right to the bottom of the strip, looking in all the shops, buying presents for home and just mooching along!

We had enough so we decided to grand get our first Thai massage!! What am experience. Neither of us knew what to expect, I definitely wasn't expecting to be pulled around and stretched from every angle (I'm really not flexible at all- some parts really hurt!) cherry and I were lying on two beds, and they pulled the curtain back so we could see each other. As it began it was really nice, as they moved to our legs, this is when all of the stretching began!! Cherrys words when she came out were"I have never been put in some many strange positions" we both came out feeling very free!

On our walk back to the hotel the sun came out for a split second then out of no where the heavens opened! We were caught in a monsoon downpour! We started spriting back to the hotel. Cherry in espadrilles was able to really peg it along, however I was in little,tiny sandals which when wet became lethal! I was literally sliding everywhere so I couldn't help but just laugh at myself! Cherry was back at the hotel and she started laughing at me as well I honestly must have looked ridiculous!

We then just chilled at the hotel for a while watched a movie and hoping the weather would clear, but it didn't so we just got ready for dinner. We headed out at about 8, back to a little Thai restaurant which we both knew was cheap! I went for a seafood noodle soup which was amazing while Ches opted for the fried rice with chicken! Delicious! We did some more shopping and bought the last bits and bobs we needed. We were home for about 12 which was perfect seeing as we had such an early start the next day!
