Went on an Island/ Beach tour today.We were the only English speaking tourists on the boat but one of the guides spoke English so we were fine.Our 1st stop was an island with snorkeling.We had rented some snorkel gear on the main island so in we went.The snorkeling was not so great here but the water was wonderful!Then it was off to a gorgeous beach, The tour guide has a crush onKristy and asked her to go walking.It's a small island - you can walk around it in 15 minutes.She was back in 10 and we went off to another part of the beach.Surrounded by trees, you feel like you're on a deserted island.I could of stayed here all day.45 minutes and then we're off to another snorkel location - Lagoa Azul (blue lagoon).The snorkeling here was great!Saw lots of colorful fish, some starfish and lots of coral.Now it's off to another beach for lunch (closer to dinner by now).We had an amazing fish meal cooked in a clay pot.It's like a paella and served with rice.Back to the island after lunch.A very nice tour and a great way to see a lot.Would of liked to have done some hiking in the jungle as well but time doesn't allow it.After showering we went back into town again.Did a little more shopping, purchased our boat trip back for tomorrow and ate some awesome grilled shrimp on the beach.Unfortunately, Kristy got eaten alive by mosquitoes or something.Her legs are 1 solid bite.So we called it a day.
