After a decent ride and a quick 25 minute speed boat trip we arrive at Ilha Grande.An amazing island with basically no vehicles.They have a police car, a fire engine and a trash truck.That's it.Its about a 10 minute walk to the town on the beach.The town is great with table and chairs on the sand for dinner or just caipirinhas!We spent the evening walking around and shopping.Got an email from Shauna and got some AMAZING news.She's pregnant so I'm going to be a Gramma again.Made our night! Went back to the hostel (right on the beach!) for BBQ dinner (not so great hamburgers).Lots of drinks and some conversation with a couple from London, a guy from New Zealand and a guy from Ireland.A very good day.
