well we can offically say we have found the best place in the world. if you ever get the amazing oppotunity to come to south africa you have to stay here. completely out of the way of everything but the most relaxing place.
we stayed at the tube n axe. one week out of four. we were ment to be there 3 days and ended up being there a week. so as you can probabily guess we loved it. if we could pick anywhere that shows our tranformation it would be here. the people were excellent. we learnt from very special people the philosiphy of 5,4,3,2,1 live life. if we ever feel down the thought of louis and barry makes us laugh.
when we arrived it was the night of the world cup. how amazing it was england v south africa!!! scary. we took our places for the match sat on the bar with the 'boka boka' man playing the drum abit different from the way in which we watch it at home. on the night of the match we met all the people form the bungy jump which we did a couple of days later. we have made a new american friend called joel whos catchphrase is 'can u imagine?!?' drives us up the wall with it but hes such an ace guy.
as you can probabily see from the pictures there are loads and loads of picture on us sat on a swing that ladies and gentleman is our 'princess swing' the best swing in the world we have claimed it for our own.
on the 3rd day of being here we went to the bungy jump!!! the highest in the world 216m to be precise. the brigde on the picture is the brigde we jumped off!! it was the best thing we ever did. we went with joel and mat who were just as scard as we were. standing so high up with your toes hanging over the edge of this hugh bridge is an undescrible feeling of fear and adrenaline. but we are now planning many more jumps but once youve done the biggest what else is there to do maybe from a helicoptor!?!
our nights here are filled with fires, shooting stars, beanbags and guitars and as you can probabily guess the beanbags are in the bar most of the time.
3 out of the 6 nights we wondered to ourselves why we had rooms as we slept on the beanbags its like a home away from home.
this place has most definatly changed us for the better giving a different outlook on life and our attitudes towards it. as barry would say and a philosphy he lives by, live life for today and dont be afraid to be yourself. which we new up until now but had never really realised it before
wed like to thank everone at the tube n axe for making our memories the best they could be.
(we have even learnt how to make a fire you build a castle and then set it on fire hahahahahaha)
