Hey guys, Arrived yesterday morning after a gruelling flight (dont ever travel China Eastern Airlines if you can help it!) to Sydney. It was awesome to see Laura again, have, missed her heaps! Staying at my aunt's who lives in Manley in an apartment that overlooks the entrance to Sydney Harbour, it really is rather nice! Spent the day trying to plan our trip, mooching round Manley and watching sunset and sufers on the beach here - gorgeous! (sunset, not surfers - they were too far away for me to tell). Its sunny here but not that warm - looking forward t getting up north to some heat! Jacqui (my aunt) cooked us a lovely meal in the evening and Charlotte Tracey came over for dinner too (a best mate from school who is working over here for a year for those who dont know) which was great, really nice to see her and catch up. Today we are going over to Sydney centre to mince about for a bit then we're off on a 14hour bus trip tonight (ouchie!) up to Byron Bay, which is a really pretty place up the coast with a cool town, great beaches and awesome surf - the holiday can commence!! After that the general plan is to keep heading north, stopping at Surfer's Paradise/Brisbane, Hervey Bay, the Whitsundays, Mission Beach, Cairns, and Cape Tribulation for some tropical chill out time before catching a flight back down to sydney for another week or so. Oooh so excited!! I have already sustained an injury to the toe (not like me, I know!!?!) which involved me tripping over in Jacqui's apartment and a lot of blood and plasters. Good start I feel.
