Hey Guys! So the hostel this week is the best by far! Like a little beach house, chilled atmosphere and people all seem really nice and friendly and all from different backgrounds. Its a tiny hostel so its really cosy. Its our first time in a mixed dorm, Justin is canadain dude and works in the hostel, really nice and friendly guy and then there is another guy 'matt' (i think) who is a lot older but has some amazing stories (lesson learnt never judge a book by its cover). Dennis the main man in charge (friendly giant) gives us some key places to see whilst we are in town, we got 3 days so we spread it out. Its not a big town but its known for its surfing. So the first day we deicided to take a little walk around the town and beach, its so quiet and small but so beautiful. We watch the guys on their lunch breaks taking a sneaky surf in and then have some lunch in a funky little cafe by the beach. We get back to the hostel and there is a new girl in our dorm, we say hello, she ignores, we assume no english or just tired so leave it at that.Thats is pretty much it for the first day.

The next day we decide to check out the surf museum, was pretty interesting, its only tiny but if you like surfing its defo the place to find out about the history of it all. We walk around the shops which again are way to expensive so head back to the hostel and have a night in with everyone. I cook a dinner for me and karly and we end up chatting to the guys there listening to their different travel stories. Girl from our dorm stomps in, gives everyone evils and then walks back out and into the dorm. The later on decides to stomp back in after slamming several doors to tell us to keep the noise down and she is trying to sleep (we are all puzzled as it isnt even 10 and she has been in bed all day but we all oblige). I will just add aswell that the following morning she had stomped out of bed and slam the doors at about 5am and turning on all the nights so no consideration for anyone that is actually sleeping. GRRRRR!!!!

The following day we wake up, me and karly are the only ones having our breakfast watching the TV, everyone else is either at work or out exploring or in bed. Then the charming girl from our dorm stomps in, snatches the remote and changes the channel, to which I say 'excuse me we were watching that', she ignores and pulls one of the those sucking on a sour sweet face, I say again 'excuse me we were watching that', she turns, she gives me a death stare, I can't believe the rudeness and decide not to say anymore and go and get in the shower. To cut a long story short me and Karly go on another costal walk that day to Belles beach and when we get back Dennis informs us that we missed out on all the drama. 'Oh god what' I say, 'we have had the police here, Sarah the girl in your room has gone'. Turns out Dennis and Justin didnt like the atmosphere she was creating within the hostel with everyone and she also started saying that myself and Karly were stabbing holes in her pasta (because we just HATE pasta) and some of her money had gone missing. Thank god the guys didnt believe her especially when she slammed the door in their face when Dennis was trying to reason with her and she decided to baracade herself on the top bunk. Hense why the police were called and she was escorted (i say escorted apparently she scratched the police officers face and was kicking and screaming and refusing to get in the car). Thank god we werent there to see it but the boys filled us in on everything that they saw haha. If I am honest i found it all a bit scary as she was sharing a room with 4 of us and obvisouely could of done anything if she is going to react that way to police officers. But Dennis and Justin apoligised for the atmosphere and made us feel a lot more comfortable and at home.

Even with all that drama it was still the best hostel so far and we loved the people minus the pyscho there.
