Cuba is fantastic!!

I can't believe we're almost ready to leave the country already! So far it has been all that we hoped for and more. The streets are full of cars from the 60's, horsedrawn carriages and cocotaxis, very funnylooking and cool mopeds with seats for two passengers, not to mention the LADA police cars (very funny, but true!). We had a couple of days in Havana, and were met at the airport by Juan Carlos, a friend of Guro. We stayed in his house with his entire family, mom, sister, brother and niese, so in total we were 7 people living there.. But there are always more people around. Cuban people have an enourmous hospitality, and they make great food!! In addition, Cuba is one of the safest countries in Latin America, and we feel totally safe wandering the streets even at night. Right now we are in Trinidad, a city on UNESCOs world heritage list because of its colonial background and preservation, but are going back to Havana tomorrow to pack up our backpacks for Costa Rica.
