Hi All,
Sorry for the delay in postings, we've had no internet access. I have several other posts coming...............
Day Two - Vic Falls
After very little sleep we got up and some of our group (about 8) headed out to Victoria Falls. It was beautiful and much bigger then I expected. The waters soak you, even when you aren't close to the falls. You can see the spray from the falls for miles. The trail around the falls is a couple of kilometers long and we bumped into some baboons along the way. They were quite aggressive and tried to steal our stuff, so we decided to backtrack and take another route around. It was just as well we did as a few people from our trip got attacked by them, the worst attack happened to Owen, who had his camera lens stolen. After a quick look around the market we headed back to the accommodation. We met most of the rest of the group in the bar and heard stories of what they'd been up to. Some took helicopters rides across the falls, some canoed the Zambezi, some elephants trekked and other had been walking with lions. Steve and I decided to take a sunset cruise down the Zambezi that afternoon, this was lovely and we saw hippos. We had a 6:30 (4:30 UK time) start the next day so we went to bed shortly after getting back from the cruise.
