Yes my team is rubbish, glad i am on the other side of the world!
Abi - anna and I saw that film on the plane from Singapore - we were fans! Glad to hear youve been buying shoes - thats my girl!
Oz is fun, next stop Melbourne, and after a week we fly up to Cairns before heading down the east coast. Time seems to be flying by but enjoying every minute (well apart from the snake encounter!) Added some more journal entries - its raining here today too!

Liz is right, Charlton are RUBBISH, but then again so are Newcastle!

Hope the Dolands are OK.
Y6 is boring apart from Science and Art they're good and history's Ok! I have now discovered I am terrible a Spanish! At least it's half term now.

Hi Kitty Cat - Granny sends a big thank you for the postcard. It's rainy damp and cold here, so I hope you feel bad about having such a splendid time.
Lots of Luvie wuvie lil' kitty cat - don't forget to wear the bobble hat and scarf your granny knitted you!!!! xxx

Dude, Charlton are going DOWN. It's a good thing you're not here to witness their demise.
Right, time for some good old English gossip to keep your mind off how truly terrible your football team is (but, sorry Abi, Newcastle is doing pretty badly too).
-There has been a huge brouhaha over Madonna adopting a baby from Malawi (apparently parentless English kids just aren't trendy any more)
-My Chemical Romance are no. 1 which is really odd - the emo kids are rebelling - they knocked Razorlight off the top spot
-Blair continues to refuse to pull out of Iraq
-Thames Water has been sold to a consortium led by Aussie bank Macquarie.
That's it for today - not much fun news. I have bought tonnes of new CDS - I can definitely recommend Juliette Lewis and the Licks, We are Scientists, but The Killers new one is yet to grab me yet. You are going to be sooooo behind in the music scene when you get back....oh, you are already! Don't you know Britney is now white trash and Will Young will never marry you ;)
Jobs is still scary. It's still warmish (18degrees). I must e-mail you properly about NZ (current thought is to see Mel in Auckland w.c 15.01.07 and then come and see you the next week in ChristChurch).
Ta-ra for now.

PS - stop saying you're fat - you look great in the photos - travelling most obviously suits you.

Oh yeah, tony shut it about Newcastle according to Dad we are higher than u! (Well then again, this is the Dad that apparently put headphones in my ears when is was a baby which had the recording, "Middlesbrough are the beast team ever, they rule support them!")

Hey, Ur trip sounds ACE! The jungle and Singapore sounds really good, and Australia sounds pretty cool.
Went on a school trip today, to a Sikh Temple it was really cool, and we got to eat some curry from the Langar (Kitchen, it was VERY YUMMY!) Then we went down to the open Centre and got henna tattoos on r hands and we got paint on r forehead.
School is OK, Going to the Y6 Leavers Dinner Dance with Olli (Oliver) BTWk, he is not my boyfriend!!!!!!!!! Gross and Yuck!
Anyway have a great trip! Remember to die, then we get loads of money, but don't die in a terroist attack, then we don't! Just Kiddin' But it would be nice to have loads of money!

Hmmm yes i had noted that people had been lame - obviously nothing is happening in England!
Just added some of Anna's photos on the site but didnt have time to play with them (or rotate them so you'lll just have to put up with till we get to Oz).
Anyway we are getting up at 4am to fly (to Oz that is) so off to pack. Oh by the way it is 28 degrees in perth today! Hoorah!

Dad
PS Boro beat Everton 2-1 yesterday, N'cle play today (Sun) and your lot tomorrow play (Monday) evening. Charlton still in 20th (bottom) place.
Dad
Gone quiet in here.
Guests for lunch today (the Leeders) so we've all been on our hands and knees cleaning the kitchen and living room floors etc. Been really foggy for the last few days, getting *colder* - I knew you wanted to read that. Today is my first day not in the hospital after 21 days in a row (weekend banding!).
We are heading for Bournemoth next weekend, from where I am going on to Oslo for a conf for two days, then Grandmas, weekend on-call, then Chicago. I would prefer Perth - I don't think it would take much for Kevin and Caroline to persuade us to emigrate there.
GEM fireworks do 11th November here - late as usual. You are both invited but it's a bit of a trek ....
You'll love Australia - for a start they have proper toilet paper. Go easy on the Dolans won't you - they are very nice people.

It's me again! Wow, your trip sounds fabulous! I don't like jealousy, it's not a nice feeling ;)
It's really cold here today, but I am nursing a hangover and am sitting in my jammies at 5pm on a Saturday.
I am flirting with the idea of heading over to see Mel in New Zealand in Jan, so wondered if you were going to be around then? Apparently it will be beautiful weather and she's going to the Big Day Out where Muse and The Killers are playing for her birthday.
As far as gossip goes, I have Heat, Grazia and Now sitting in front of me. Still dominated by Kate Moss (who is now designing a range for Topshop) and Pete Doherty - on off etc. Lots of fashiony stuff surrounding the film, The Devil Wears Prada, can't wait to see it..
I have no exciting news, I start at Fishburn Hedges on Monday, have a date on Wednesday with a really cute guy, and going to a gig on Thursday, Broken Family Band (Sadies boyfs' band) at Scala.
That's all from me!

Uncle Tony
Guess who's back.....guess who's back - all those other Uncle Tonys are just imitating, will the real Uncle Tony, please stand up, please stand up!!! Hey, who said Unka T wasn't in touch wiv yoof culture and da kids in da ghetto???? Oh yes I've got the flavouring alright!!!!
Glad everything is still going ok, just a short one to let you know how over excited your Dad got about his new Boro shirt - it all ended in tears and your Mum had to carry him to the car - he just got a bit overtired I guess. We can only pray that those man-made fibres run into a naked flame real soon (not when he's wearing it of course!!!!).
Not a great deal of news from this end - Granny's fine and Grandad isn't doing too bad. Almost forgot, thanks to Anna winning a competition, Uncle Peter spent at least some of Saturday moring with the goddess that is Kylie Minogue - hows that happen then????? I mean it's not like he's even in the entertainment biz like me (my latest film is released in August by the way luvvie!!!!). I am indeed a bitter and twisted man!!!!!
Anyway - continue to enjoy yourself while you can, Interpol can't be that far behind!!!!!
