on the third day he stayed the lady came to his room to try and get him to kiss her but it didnt work insted he had recived three kisses and a green lace form the lady. she gave it to him to protect him on his journey to fight the green knight for with it he couldnt be killed. when the lead of the house returened and gave him his catch off the day sir gawain only gave him 3 kisses and didnt tell him about the lace the lady had given to him to protect his life.
