He arrived to the caslte. He was welcomed with open arms on his journey threw his quest / . They took him to see the the lord of the castle. He sat along side him at the table. After there meal had ended they went to the chapel of the castle.They celebarted the Evensong on Christmas Eve. He soon meet the lady of the Catle, Queen Guinevere. Once he was taken to his room, he rested for 3 days. Sir Gawain wanted to leave but the knight requested his stay and he would tell one of his men to gide him on the last day. They had made a bargain togther, to exchange whatever happened with one another for better or for worse.
"And as this yet is the festive season of game and jest, let us make a bargain together, I vowing each day to give you whatever I may win in the wood, and you giving in exchange anything that may come to you here in the castle. Let us swear to make this exchange, for worse or for better, whatever may happen." page 91
