Quiet time in Orlando
I have been in Orlando for four days now, and the last three of them have been really relaxing. I am staying in a nice and quiet, little lakeside hostel outside Orlando, and it is chilling in a good way.
The partynoise from Miami is gone, and here is perfect for relaxing, writing and regain energy for the next journey.
Lots of the guests here are just sleeping at the hostel, and then they go to one of the many huge theme parks located in and around Orlando, so during the day I can really relax.
My time goes by with writing for this and my danish blog, researching on the next steps in the roundtrip and talking (Skype) with family and friends back home in Denmark.
I also get some inspiration from the other guests here. When they some home in the evening, most of them are cooking in the hostel's kitchen, and then they tell about the parks and cities they have visited so far on their trip, and it gives me some good ideas.
Anyway, now I know for sure that I really look forward to coming to Chicago in march. First of all I am meeting up with som friends from Denmark, but furthermore everyone I meet who know Chicago tells me it's the best city they have been to eventhough its VERY cold.
Some brazilian guys from this hostel were in Chicago in 19 MINUS degrees (CELSIUS), and they told me that it was the most awesome city anyway. If brazilians say that in such a cold city, it must be good. I cant wait! :-)
I am also considering the theme parks around Orlando, but first of all Im not really a theme park-guy, and second of all; It would be more fun to go to a theme park if you were more than just one person travelling.
Anyway, I think Ill go to Orlando Downtown one of the next day. It should be some kind of theme park, too. :-))
