Not a great deal to write today as we spent most of it travelling. We left Rome, catching a train to Venice. The trains are so much less hassle than flying and it really doesn't take that much longer. You can rock up right before departure time, there's no baggage check in or security to checks to go through and then it whistles along at 270km/h.

Got into Venice late afternoon, checked in and then headed out to find a restaurant for tea. More pizza and more wine! Now bed time before some sightseeing tomorrow.
