Well words can not even begin to describe the events of the Fete de Bayonne! On wednesday night Me and about 8 other friends all borded a bus to Bayonne, a small town about 20 minutes from Hossegor, to go to this very French Holiday. We arrived in the midts of a RAGING party in the city were around 1.5 million attend yearly for the celebration of the Basc Region of southern France and Northern Spain. While we wandered the packed streets we encountered countless interesting experiences such as dancing, singing, bands, chants, passing people around in the air, people climbing light poles and buildings while hundreds of people threw platiic bottles at them to slow their progress (this is a large tradition that i have no idea or its singnificance) and gerneral cayos. We wandere about partying late into the night till around 3 in the morning we were all wiped and decided it was time to try to find and get our bus back to Hossegor. This was by far the CRAZIEST night I have ever experienced for its hard to beat dancing and partying with over a million people at once. I would highly reccomend this experience to everyone for only in France would one experience a night like this!
