On arrival we braved a trip to Cloudy Bay Vineyard (still feeling slightly worse for wear). The lady there didn't appear to like us very much, however obliged in taking our photo. We filled our boots with free wine and crackers, then headed into town where I actually bought some boots!!! Nice green pumps, $20, a true fashion accessory. To kill a bit of time we made a cuppa in the main road out of the back of Johnny, before heading to our 4 bedroom home for the night.
Introducing Kurt and Vaughan (Sean's mates), who were very hospitible, despite the unfortunate powercut situation they were presently in. Cooked us a cracking BBQ: lamb chops, stir fry veg and chicken, and furnished us with tumblers for our wine. We'd also like to thank them for the use of the following appliances:
* tumble drier - twice for our towels
* fridge - for our milk
* toaster - made for very tasty muffins
* shower - not the space age one, I couldn't work that
* comfy sofa - self explanatory
* electricity sockets - for charging all our stuff
* chopping board - to cut our cheese and cucumber to make roadside wrap prep easier
As well as thanking them, we would like to forewarn them that we will be back on route to the North Island!!!
