Our trusty limo driver Jean picked us up on schedule for our dream vacation. We got as far as the Holland Landing Fire Station when Alex remembered our Tilley hats, a quick turn around an back home we arrived. Alex went in to retrieve the hats and came back down the steps with 1/2 a door key - the key having broken in the lock. In order to be on schedule and not mis the flight off we set - a few phone calls later en route for the airport and Alan our expert handyman and friend had the lock fixed. We arrived at the airport on schedule but the Air Canada flight was delayed by one hour. However we still had plenty of time in Vancouver before our flight to Auckland. Alex had chinese food for lunch while we wait for the flight!

Our flight to New Zealand got away early, leaving at 6:30p.m. We managed to get a little sleep - the seats and meals were great, no problems and we arrived on Tuesday morning the 24th February at 5:30 in Auckland.

We lost a day somewhere!
