As I turned 21 this year, it seems like the perfect time to live the American Dream and spend probably my final summer as a student living, working and travelling around the USA. I will be working at an Amusement Park called Trimpers in Ocean City, Maryland, before returning to England in Septmber to complete the final year of my degree in French at the University of Leeds.

Martyn Ellis I found out a lot more on here about where you went and what you did than by talking to you in person Carly - so thanks for sharing it - I know you had an amazing Summer working and touring in the USA and pleased you are back in UK now to share the memories. Remember if you live in a permanent dream it ceases to be a dream so I'm sure you will look forward to your next challenge or trip with excited anticipation. Martyn Ellis Way to go ! - look forward to some pics and hearing about DC and Toronto - you're missing the fab Olympic Games in London - great atmosphere here and even the weather tried to improve last week but didn't last sadly. I am sure August is going to be very busy at Trimpers - by the way you speak really good English where did you learn it??
