BYRON BAY

Had an awesome time in Byron Bay! Stopped over for 3 nights at the holiday village hostel, bumped into my school friend dave williams who was also staying there, i was at Churston with him for 5 years! What a small world!

Byron is even cooler than totnes as its a hippy town but by the sea. There are loads of cool health shops, vege cafes (which were sooo good) and amazing bead shopsIt has such a cool vibe there, everyone is so chilled out and people just randomly sit down and play guitar or start drumming.

We hung out with our friend Canada who we met in Sydney and chilled out on the beach during the day. Had a big night out at cheeky monkey there. The tackiest place ive ever been, but we still had a good night and met loads of randomers!

We did the Byron Bay lighthouse walk at 5am in the morning and got to see the sunrise. Incredible views and saw loads of dolphins when the sun came up.

BRISBANE

Stayed in Byron for 3 nights (wish we had longer)before going up to Brisbane to visit Australia zoo, home of the croc hunter. Had an awesome day at the zoo even though the rain was terrential allllll day. Fed some elephants, watched the croc show where they get up close and feed them meat, it was brilliant! Saw some super cool tigers that were swimming around in a pool playing with plastic boxes
