Hey everyone so I had a good week I've been working lots and making some good money I get paid today which is cool as I have only 10 dollars left and overdue rent to pay on the tent! Couple of nights ago I went for dinner with some guys from work at the restaurant I'm working in at the Sheraton it was amazing a great way to celebrate my birthday we took advantage of the all you can eat buffet I had fresh lobster oysters crab steak the whole works then all the desserts you could think plus cocktails and some beers and they charged us 40 bucks each not bad going considering I've only worked there a week! Mikael got me a Tshirt and some ozzy beer coasters and some beer which was cool. So I'm in week 3 of living in a tent and it's getting more difficult as it's rain nonstop for two days now so you can imagine the place is full of sand mud and s*** everywhere but a glimpse of hope just came my way about ten minutes ago in the form of a phone call confirming that our application for a flat has been successful and we can move into tommorow!! great news no more cueing for basic essentials now I've just gotta get a bike because it's like a 40 minute walk but worth it to have a flat plus it's got a pool and it's 100m from the beach and shops so I'm very happy and we also have a 3 month lease so the option is there if we want to renew it after that. There is not Internet at the flat though so this could be my last update for some time unless I can find a wifi spot but I'm gunna try to get an international sim card tommorow so I call all you lovely people in the uk to keep in touch. I posted an advert online about a travel buddy for Asia just to see what response I would get really and I have so many emails from people all over the world that are interested in joining me at some point on my trip through Asia and I've also been messaging some people through a website called couchsurfing it's a system where people all over the world host you in there homes and countrys so you live on there sofa with there family and they give the non touristy view of their towns etc so I have an invitation from a family in Fiji to stay with them for one week in early December it should be a great experience to live with local people. That's all for now il try and update when I can but it's unlikely il be online/Facebook/email for a while so take care people and speak to ya all soon x (oh yea check out my Sheraton uniform in the pic name badge and everything?)
