Walked around the corner at the entrance to the falls and hit by the stunning views. Now voted one of the new 7 wonders of the natural world - I can see why. Hundreds of waterfalls - including the largest known as " the mouth of the devil"- awesome .
Igasu means I( big) gasu ( river).

Walked the 1.5 km along the track to countless vantage points-countless butterflies of all colours that scattered the route, birds and I even got a picture of a monkey in a tree that then tried to pee on me- charming.
Lunch and a beer in the park.
Through to the border with Argentina - our guide sorted all the paperwork - a blessing- it was like an old concrete pre Cold War Russian checkpoint.
Van searched - passed through to Argentina where we switched drivers and were picked up by an old grey haired Arge wannabe Lewis Hamilton - fastest minibus driver in the west! Tailgating everything from a truck to a motorbike !
Passed through a little town - shanty type - everyone sitting outside .
Panic set in as two huge blokes with vests , stood in the middle of the road and directed us up a side road. That's it I thought- kidnapping , abducted into the jungle and sold for slavery.
What actually happened was that the school was coming out and they were sending us on a short detour to keep the kids safe!- the Argentinian equivalent of a lolly pop lady.
Down a cobbled old road to Puerto bemberg - fantastic!
