So i have one more night in Koh Phi Phi before i move on again! I've had a great time here, its been alot like Koh phangan because i've met a fun group of people who i've done eveything with. Koh Phi phi has less partying but if alot more beautiful i think than Koh phangan.
I arrived on the 11th at my dorm at golden hill bungalows to a room frull of friendly faces who immediately invited me to the beach. We spent the whoel dya on the main ebach and in the sea and headed out to some Phangan style partying at nught. Bucket buckets and more bucketts....but most of these were free......its the cheapest place to get drunk here!!
Literally al the bars offer free drinks or buy one get one free offers, i spent 150THB (3GBP) in one night and that included a banana pancake.
There was loads of fire activities going on and me, Myra and Jackie (2 girls from Cali) did some fire rope skipping , fire limbo and ring of fire at whic point Jackie decided to kartwheel through :( and burnt herself pretty bad, ive never seen burns like thta from these fire things. She was pretty badly hurt and me and one fo the guys David took her back ot the hostle and tried to fix her up. It was a relaly good night up until that point.
The 2nd day we made it our mission to walk to Long Beach without taking a longtail boat which after probably 90mins, water wading, stupidly hot and spiky rocks we made it. No longer than 10mins after we arrived i kicked a sea urchin which meant i had a broken off spine in my toe. It stil in there now! It was no where near as painful as i thought it would be. We saw a girl who stepped on about 10 spikes and was in agony.
Even tho we were shattered and boiling we walked alllll the way back to the town for some food via a forest path, all of this with no shoes!
After food we sorted the food problem and me, Maira and Rob went flip flop hunting and thanks to Myras persistency we got some Havaianas for 150THB.
Yesterday me, the girls and rob 1 and rob 2 took the boat trip to various places around the island. Bamboo Island was stunning , so beautiful and really quiet compared to a lot of other places. We then went to Monkey beach where we had to walk across coral to get to the beahc...nightmare, it was probably only 50metres ut it took ages. Moinkey beach was cool, yes there was loads of monkeys that were stealing everyones food and loads of Japanese tourists who were actually taking more photos than me....anyone suprised?
It was awesoem to see monkeys but i did feel more like a tourist attraction than in the wild because boats of people were just turning up and the monkey obviously knew that everyone would feed them. I think id rather acidentally see them in the wild.
One thing thats driven me insane here is people leaving their crap on the beaches and on the streets, at monkey beach i sae about 10 fag butts left ina pool of water on the rocks next to an empty chang. The Thais are letting us see their land and peopel are just leaving their rubbish everywhere, it really winds me up!
After Monkey we went to the island where the beach was filmed and visited Maya Bay which was really nice but very busy....which was kind of expected, the best bit was when we left the island with all the other boats and the beach was left empty and the sun was setting, really beautiful.
I stayed out with Maira on the last night and tried my hardest to share free buckets with her but was struggling and eventually went home at around 2am! Its my last day here today so im guna sort out aload of stuff!
Then its off to Kuala Lumpur for a night then Ballliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :D
