Ok so it is now June and we leave on 26th for sunshine and bikinis

Andy landed in Melbourne two weeks ago and got here last Friday. We all spent the day together; we went round china town and Star City (the casino) it was a sunny day for once!

That weekend we had 2 BBQs as it was long weekend for the queen's birthday! On the Saturday Andy and rob stayed in the city for a 4am kick off for England's 1st game in the world cup; rob then stayed in bed with a cold flannel on his head until 4pm the next day!!! HEHE

Anna also had 3 Japanese students that weekend and on the Monday Rob, Anna, students and I went into the city too see the light and fire show in The Rocks. It was a performance part of Vivid Sydney to show the 1st crusaders to Sydney Town… it was good actually. Rob and I then had mulled wine as it was chilly.

Also part of vivid Sydney I met Kelly to watch the lighting of the sails (the opera house) and every night after work I see St. Mary's Cathedral lit up.

That night after Kelly and I watched the sails and had a bottle of wine I went to blockbuster and knocked over a few DVDs; TIP do not go in blockbuster drunk. Then the next week when I went to take the DVDs back I posted Nicola's birthday card in the slot with the DVDs and had to go in and ask for it back!!!…. Not sure I can ever go in Blockbusters again!

Kelly has now left us for Melbourne after living in Sydney for a year. We had a massive drinking session on her last night which resulted in Rob and I getting home at 8am; and from Kelly's face book I believe she "got a dirty big dog up her"

I am sure there are many other nights I have missed out like Jacksons on George with Ashley and Star Bar with Raj…… but I need to go shower now so I can pay the final amount on our van before I start work but as you can see we have just been working and catching up with friends before we head for the east coast in our pikey van!
