your pictures look well good and looks like you are having a great time.
Went to see Chris on sunday, which was good fun, got stuck in a queue to get into and out of the car park! the joy! Chris was fine during the run and said he ran all 13.1 miles he kept saying. The goody bag was funny it was cartend for the older genertation tbh, had alot of those bars dad eats, but had a t-shirt, medle, anda drink. You got tea bags in it abit random.
Got a presentation in d.t 2moro, about my activity pack not looking forward to it, but oh well wish me look.
Corky was asking how you was the other day in maths, said you were ok and in NZ at the moment and he said to say hi to you and hope you are doing well.
Anyway off now to read my book and get into bed, 10.15pm over here.
Love you and miss you

Hello my Son,
Just got back in from night school. Did I tell you I'm doing sign language as well as the MSc. I must be mad but there you go. I have an assessment next week so have been busy signing with Claire.
Chris did the Great North Run on Sunday. Eve, Claire and dad went, I watched it at home on the tele. I got a message sent from the chip on his ankle band saying he'd crossed the line in 2 hrs 20 mins. Isn't technology great?? How clever is that. Eve said his hair gel was still in tact and he hadn't even broken into a sweat. Think it took him about half an hour to reach the start line - well there were 52,000 to get past it!!! I'm very proud of him.
It's that time of year again on Friday - Hull Fair. Chris is coming back for it, but I think Eve wants to go to Welly instead. I hope she doesn't want to go as she'll expect me to go with her and her mates, just in case the chavs get her. What protection she thinks I'll be able to offer is beyond me.
I was asking Claire today if you flew direct from NZ to Venice Beach and she said you did. Is that where they all pump iron on the beach?? You'll have to go and pose, ha ha.
Give me Planty's number in an email won't you??
Love you
Mum

G'day Al
Wow, just looked at your pics, I'd certainly need brown underwear if I was with you - all those snakes (scream). I've been trying to play spot the Belgium, now I could be wrong but was one of them the guy with glasses in front of you in one pic??
I'm recovering after last weekend's birthday celebrations. I think Eve's mates had a good time. I had to get a minibus/taxi to pick her gang up from Laserquest. They never stop talking. By 11 it was peaceful again but I had to hoover before I went to bed as the living room looked like a bomb had dropped.
Was at Stafford again this week. Enjoyed it. The docs seem amazed that I've already got credits for some of the modules but I've an assignment to do this time. Was off yesterday. Weather is amazing for once.
Chris has gone to Manchester today. He cooked our tea last night. He's back for good old Hull Fair and also your return he says.
Another week and you're in NZ if I've got the itinerary right??
Love you my son

Hello mate, just catching up on your blog and is very amusing (i think you should write a book on your return). Think you will have to work on the pc element though dont think Gordon Brown would be impressed with you refering to them as 'the jap girls' made me chuckle though especially as you mentioned the others by name!!! haha. Shame you didnt get to see any doplhins but it sounds like you had a good laugh and some good old british weather aswell.
Good to see your still having fun and its nice to see that you noticed how dependant we have become on the TV...i'm going to make an effort to read more books now.
I too have been in the kitchen, cooked Natalie a fish pie from scratch the other night (using real potatoes not smash) and then i baked a sponge cake (i did have to cut the outer bits of the cake off as i burnt it but it tasted ok. I'm turning into a proper domesticated modern man!!!
Keep updating us on your travels, i enjoying checking in on how your doing, feels like you've been away for ages. we so have to go for a curry when you get home!!!
Take care mate and i'll write again soon.
Claire

Hey Al,
Guess what?? It's raining here as well. My god deadly snakes, you're in shorts in every pics , I'm beginning to think you only packed one pair of shorts, don't you have a pair of long trousers with those things that go over the top of them and tie at the ankle. Chris will know what i mean, they sell them in Blacks.
I realised how much I was missing you last week when I nipped into Morrisons on the way home, walked down the freezer isle and looked at the artic roll.
Me and Eve went to Filey on Monday. It was a really nice day, so we walked along the beach before going for fish and chips. I thought she was at school on Tuesday but she wasn't there until Wednesday.
Hey Prezza came to work the Thursday I was off. Sammy was on reception and he didn't get in the car park straight away. She said he came in a battered old jag. Obviously came to volunteer as the public rep on the Obesity Strategy group, or maybe got offered at place ont he Eating Disorders Group.
Birthday boy and girl this week. I am taking them to Hull Truck to see "Teechers" on Friday. Hey small world, Mr Cork remembered you.
Love you, Artic Roll will be in the freezer waiting for your return.

Went to docters today about my right leg and foot, am going to be referd to either a specialist bone person or foot dunno which yet though, ash left yesterday it was really sad, we where all crying in the middle of bev at the fair( a fair has come, brought out all the chavs in bev, oldies wont like it and no i arent a chav!) the chavs were looking at us like weirdly. i was nearly sick on the walzers. We had chips for sulivans with loads of chips spiece, you missing any english grub, ohh but then again you get to taste all the nice food from around the world so maybe not, anyway, lovee youu and miss you burty, your 13 nearly 14 year old lovely sisterr. xxxxxxxxx
Chris
Hey Mate,
Recieved your last postcard earlier this week.
Just catching up on the blogs, it sounds like your enjoying yourself and getting younger can only be a good thing!! The pictures of Oz look amazing and definately make me want to go, the beaches do look good and sand surfing sounds fun.
V Festival was good and it was good to catch up with Christian, K O L where excellent and i too am now a fan of scouting for girls, it was pouring down with rain and they managed to keep the crowd going which was fantastic (plus we got the city result via the mobile in the middle which made me and christian extra crazy).
Unfortunately Natalie and I didnt do so good on the tent front and we ended up coming home early due to the tent leaking, but it added to the camping experience. You would have been proud as i managed to haggle with some other campers swapping some cans of strongbow for a camping stove and some sausages...delicious if a little burnt.
