Craig & Jills Round the World Trip
Today we have clocked up another 100 miles, you will all be pleased to know its still not sunny, been cloudy with some 'fine drizzle'. We wandered around Beacon Hill this morning, lovely old red brick houses and boutiques, $3m apartments. Then Walked past Cheers, the inspiration for the tv series. Then walked along the river into Back bay, loads of joggers along the riverbank working off those donuts. Back Bay was really nice more tree lined streets with 4 storey red brick houses, and top designer shops. Luckily Craig let me go in some and treat myself, I got some more hiking socks! Walked up to Copley Square which has some old chuches next to modern skyscrapers. Headed up the Prudential tower which had a surprisingly good view of the city. You could see out to the sea, and Boston Islands and basically everywhere we have walked these last few days. As we were heading back down we saw the clouds had rolled in, and some of the buildings had vanished into the mist and clouds. For you eagled eye people you may have noticed Craigs finally shaved his head, thanks to barber Mrs Burns having to purchase some shears. Also good news only 900 photos left to use up on the camera !! Tomorrow going to chill out as more bad weather is forecast so the excitment of the laundrette awaits. Both really enjoyed Boston, its a really nice place, you can def see the British influence, however its been alot more looked after than places back home. The parks are immaculate, and even the tramps keep themselves looking clean, opps sorry thats Craig not a tramp! Missing you all, keep the messages comin. Sorry we haven't emailed you all more, but not had much chance and hwen we get on net we have been busy doing this. We will try and email you all in time, its great to see your messages, even those slightly off the wall ones from Craigs dad, or any other crazy name he likes to give himself.
