Craig & Jills Round the World Trip
We arrived in Boston yesterday after 6 hour train ride from Philadelphia. Red hot sunshine again but decided to carry on hiking our way round, and set off on the freedom trail past all the old historic sites. Learnt all about us English taking over and making them all pay taxes! Bostons really nice, seems very much like an English city, no grid like streets, just a typical unorganised city, with shops that aren't all in malls and normal pubs. We went on an old war ship that us brits tried to unsuccessfully sink in the civil war. We went in some old churches and halls where the reveloution and t party started. Unfortunately the t party ship has been on fire so is no longer on the trail to see. Last night we had a meal in quincy market, where Craig enjoyed a curry. Today you will all be pleased to know we have seen rain and clouds for the first time in ages. However really pleased as its cooled down to 75degrees which makes it a lot more pleasant for walking round. We walked along the harbour front today and saw some amazing huge boats, one even had its own hellicopter on it. Also saw some sea lions at the aquarium. Then continued walking round the streets like true brits in the torrential rain. Finally headed for shelter in macys and the other shops.
