Craig & Jills Round the World Trip
Our last day in Boston we went across the river to Cambridge for a walk around Havard University. Lots of old buildings and green squares, and steady looking students. Came back in the afternoon and finally did a pile of washing at the laundrette, see its not all rock and roll. Left Boston on Sunday morning, finally sunshine appeared as we were leaving! Train back to New York past the lovely coastline of Connecticut. Loads of bays and lovely houses, everyone seemed to be out in there boat. Got back to New York mid afternoon. Finally got to check out some shops in New York and made a few purchases. Headed down to the Empire State building last night. It was a great view, lights as far as you could see, apologies for some of the blurred photos. Today we have wandered round the streets down to Washington Sqaure Garden, a pizza at our favourite Bens Pizzeria on bleecker street. Fly out to vancouver tonight. Had a great time in the east coast of USA. All the places we've visited have been completeley different and good for different reasosns. New York definatley has the people, Washington has the greener, Philadelphia has chessesteaks and Boston has the english feel. Would def recommend any of them to you, and esp to those who visit NY, I would recommend checking out some of the other places. The Amtrack rail pass was great, big comfy seats and trains that run on time. See you soon from Canada * PS) Added yet more photos in East Coast and New York
