We´ve moved south to Peninsula Valdes but this site can´t find it on the map so still in BA according to the map! Spent the morning with thousands of Magellan Penguins at Punto Tomba, Jane was nearly pecked a few times as they´re very territorial. Sunny and beautifully clear day with warm sea breezes but have travelled hundreds of Km, a lot on rough roads. After the Penguins we went to the area capital called Rawson where we went on a dolphin watching trip and saw quite a few Tonino Avera (small ones with similar colouring to Orca) as well as a friendly Sea Lion who showed off next to us for a few minutes. Will try and upload some photos but not quite as easy as at home! We then went to the Dinosaur Museum in Trelew which is a town founded by Welsh exlies in the 1850´s. Excellet museum as Pategonia is renowned for its fossils. Then went to Gaiman a real Welsh village where they promote everything from Wales and we had a nice cup of tea and a Welsh cake. Then on to Peurto Madryn (where the welsh first landed but it was too inhospitable so they moved to Trelew as there was a river there). Had the best fillet steak and broke the bank by paying 30 Pesos (6 pounds) - wonderful. Up early tomorrow to go to Punto del Gardo for a couple of days and we think they will have few mod cons as it is about 100 Km from anywhere so we´ll just have to go and sit on the beach and talk to the Elephant seals and see an Orca if we are very very lucky.
