HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY LONG LEGS ! I've just got back from south africa and i couldn't wait to get back to the mesage board and write to you. I was so pleased that you called me and that we got to chat for a while it really made my day hearing your voice. It sounds like the twelve hour coach trip was worth your while even with a screaming baby behind you. I really can't imagine you behind a bar trying to remember what people have ordered and scutterling in the till for change.I once worked behind a bar in parkgate and i messed up so many orders that they demoted me to the kitchen plating food for lunch.( it was good fun though). Well its back to work for me now and Michael has just sold his apartment so were now under alot of stress of finding a new home which is hard because there's not alot on the market, at least when your back you will have your own bedroom. Pleased the jobs got off to a good start, even better that the staff are realy nice, im sure it will be great to be part of the community for a while, get a real taste of Aus outback life, hopefully plenty more parties drinking rum n coke! ha.....I tried to send you an e-mail to your lottiekeaton site a few days ago, just a few pics to make you laugh, it didnt work, got an e-mail back from postmaster delivery system at work saying you dont exist! Stupid thing! i sent it again but to [email protected] instead of .co.uk and it seamed to go ok. I will try again tonight, If you could let me no on here if you get it, that would be great! dont want to go see the cake eating, rolly polely I.T. geeks at work to sort it unless i have to! LOL! Ive been to the beach at Hornsea today, working, its been SNOWING! could not see any sand at all! White over, just made me think of you in 40degree sunshine, on beautifull beaches and clear blue sea! we've got 0 degrees, crappy stoney sand and sea with sh*%t floating in it! Hey Brooke!!! Sounds like you're having a great time! Hope the hotel job's going well for you - knock the locals dead girl - any more signs of fit guys??? There were none in Springsure where I've just come from - all old and wrinkly I'm afraid and the lady I was working for was a bit of a dragon but it's all experience I guess. Must have just missed you as I'm now in Brisbane, arrived this morning. Would have loved to catch up but maybe another time. Hanging out in Bingara is still one of the highlights of the trip and I'm so glad you were there with me - all fun and games!!! Might be heading south for a bit now - possibility of work on a polo yard in NSW and then I'm looking into maybe going to work in a ski resort - my horse fell and rolled on me at the cattle farm but I lived to tell the tale so I'm hoping I can survive some skiing!!!! Hi to all my adoring fans! ha! Thankyou Niki,this will definatly be a Birthday to remember. I'm glad you have joined my msg club,its heeps fun reading everyones emails. Well, ive arrived safe & sound to the very small town of Tambo which is the smallest town in the west.I travelled twelve hours on the coach with a new born baby behind me, Arrrah! This is, ''The real outback! '' but thankfully the peolpe are even more friendly than the last place, probably being, because they have a population of four-hundred & everyone is like family.I have my own room who i share with the spiders of course! The whole hotel is made of wood decking,very basic, but it all adds to the cosy country feel of the place.I couldn't have chose a better place to work, as the owner & staff very helpful & just want me to have a good time while I'm here.I worked behind the bar for the first time yesterday & it all went ok, except for a few mistakes which were inevitable.This good-looking guy booked a room & orderd a drink, I messed up the till & blushed at the same haha! my excuse being, its not everyday you are faced with a gorgeous guy in the bush! Theres a rodeo this weekend for Australia Day, so that will be a experience & give me the chance to meet all the locals.I'm working on my Birthday in the evening, but there will be fun & games during the day,like Tug-of-war,iron man comp, tennis & lots More.The next day is the [Tambo Twilight Rodeo] with barrel racing,Open Bull,& bare-back riding! All in all, I should have a great Birthday.Hopefully it will be nice & quiet in the bar tonight!
