Hi, thanks for all your latest msgs, they are great! I havent been able to log on for a while as the computers here are not very reliable most of the time.Well, lots of things have happened since my last update like....I adopted this cat which stayed in my room with me & i called her Beyonce- link being the sassy female thing! .She was adorable & kept me company until Ian arrived haha! Ive also been looking after a baby bird for four days, having to catch insects & murder them by boiling hot water.I couldnt watch so i put a towel around the jar...NICE! I felt so guilty but it had to be done..It died in the end, after all my efforts & bug slaying. We have two new Backpackers, an english girl & a canadian girl. I told my boss that i hate the bar so ive been demoted to the kitchen, where i dont have to deal with people..Hooray!! I was getting tired of listening to the small-minded views of country bumpkins! & thats me putting it politely.Ian cheered me up when he came for his three days though, & he taught me how to do the tumble turns in the pool.I felt like a total idiot having to wear the swimming cap he brought me...haha.. & i must have looked about as graceful as a baby elephant under the water as i couldnt do it quick enough. Never mind, he didnt look that cool while doing stretches on the pool side in his buggie smugglers...hehe!! we plan on meeting up again later in the year as he shares a unit on the sunshine coast overlooking the sea & said i could spent time there.Who knows where ill be at that time so its best not to promise things out here plus i dont want to make attachments while traveling. Ive decided not to take the nanny job because i think i would go insane stuck on a station in the middle of nowhere with a tv & two kids for company! Im wanting to move on shortly iv had enough of the outback! When does your nannying job start? Will you get to ride a polo horse? Is it still very hot there? Grandma Perry and Mark send their love and ask about you every time I ring them. Got back from New York yesterday it was brilliant - went to Madison Square Gardens to see the New York Nicks win in the basketball game - the atmosphere was amazing especially as the Nicks won. Probabily 'cos their shooter was 7foot 5inches tall! We saw Chicago on Broadway and went up the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty. We also did a tour of all the film sets including the building where Friends is filmed. A lot to pack into 5 days with 40 17 year olds. hi brooke not been in touch for a while but glad your okay and still enjoying yourself. had a nice surprise on my birthday your mum and josh came up they stopped for quite a while we talked and laughed there were a few tears but it was lovely. me and your uncle pete have just come back from india can you believe ive actually done a long haul flight me of all people . now india was something else so very different from anywhere else ive been a real eye opener. we did nt have much time to see all the sights cos we were sorting furniture out for our apartment thank god its done now, were going back in march now for 2 weeks so we can have a proper holiday and get to see the sights. try and post some photos brooke i love to see them take care carry on enjoying yourself . speak to ya soon love pat pete

Hiya neenie! Awwwh... the baby sounds gorgeous! I bet you was sniffing its head haha! I love how new born babies smell i could eat them.Speaking of kids.... i have been offered a nanny job as a live in nanny on a station in a few weeks! It would be for three weeks while the mum & dad go off mustering & preparing for the polo-cross horse season. They have a eight month old boy called Jet, & a four year old boy called sam. A lovely, attractive couple & the kids are gorgeous.Sam is very intense though, & just runs up to anyone & speaks his mind....he scares alot of adults! so that should be interesting to see how long i last haha! Its only a car ride away from the pub so id be back on a weekend on my days off, to chillout in a kid free zone. I missed my bus up to Longreach today, that i paid for, what an idiot!... my alarm didnt go off so Im very peeved off today! well, its a good job, 'you no who', is coming today haha! Im soooo on edge its not even funny! I will stutter & slaver when he comes for definate......Help...hahaha! Hi jonathan! I dont have any new pictures at the moment sorry! & to be honest, i cannot be bothered to up-load them onto the computer because its like waiting for hell to freeze over! My patience is wearing thin in this little town.....had a horrible nightmare that i had to stay here forever the other day....Arraahhh! I dont feel lucky anymore, i feel like im not traveling & i was born here..haha! I am glad you have booked a vacation as you would probably go insane, you have to balance work & play'Oh god!', Did you have to remind me of that haha! I was soooo drunk, how embarrassing was that night, the things you do when you are recked.......hahah! I watched Alpacas being sheared the other day with Oliver, my friend whom i work with.He got spat at & got covered in green slime,which made the day more interesting.We had both seen enough by the fifth one, as the noise they were making was horrible.I must say that i feel like im going slightly cuckoo & dont no how long i can stick this whole 'outback' thing out! Well i turn 29 next next week, going round barnsley fri night, theres about 30 of us from work.. its someones leaving do too.. I wanted rotherham not barnsley cos dont want to bump into people from my past but most of the girls live that way so barnsley it is.. if i see anyone ill just rise above it!! I had this dream that cupid will strike you lucky and you will meet the most fantastic man, and you will live over there forever and be so happy looking after animals or something like that.... And in about 40 yrs all the family will be on Cilla Blacks surprise surprise and you will walk out with grey hair and a back pack with a baby crocodile in your arms saying gday family!! fancy a barbi in the back yard!! and all us lot will still be the same.. ill still be at home with a walking frame!! Hi Gem, Oh thats soooooo dreadful! It sounds like a twisted nightmare! I cant believe she is in that state, i would have to see her to believe it. I was thinking of the time i lived with her for a month & i no we were the complete opposites in everyway but i liked her vibrant personality & her constant energy.....her laugh was playing over & over in my head! She used to laugh at me for keeping Reggie the Rat in my bedroom & run around the flat freaking out haha! She was so generous too.If i was back home i would come with you to see her. I would remind her of that story she never forgot, & used to tell everyone, when introducing me to her friends.....she would say, 'This is Brooke who i once skived school with, when we were twelve, & put a centipede in my yogurt!' It blended in with the peach bits, & was hanging out of her mouth, haha!... I was a devil! If its any consolation Gem, shes unaware of whats happened & i doubt she will be suffering too much.Well let this tragedy be a wake-up call to you cos i know, like you said, you sometimes drive like a rally driver! And remember you have lived a good life & seen & been places where i havent even been, thus the horsey life you had as a child, so dont regret the past too much. Lifes a roller coaster & we ride it until we die.All the crazy stuff that happens is just a learning process & makes your life seem more colourful when you look back, as a granny......haha!.... in your checked slippers & matching robe.
