Hi everyone! where have you all gone? Ive had a lovely day today with the family.Its xmas eve here & we have just finished having super.The families other daughter is here with her too small children, so we had twelve around the dinner table! little jack who is eight, played jingle bells for us on the piano, while we all sang! ha! That made it feel like xmas for the first time. Today me, Jonas the kids & grandad James, we all went to south west rocks, then to trail beach for the afternoon.we took the belly boards & had a great day out! The beaches were super clean & you could wade really far out with the water only coming up to your waist, so i felt pretty safe & rode the waves with peace of mind.The sands were white & the sea was very warm too.we went up to Smokey cape lighthouse, which had stunning views! I think it got its name due to the bush fires in the area, once upon atime.Yesterday i got a really special treat, as James had to take this guy on his routine yearly flight review & he asked me if i wanted to go along, so obviously i jumped at the chance to experience flying in a light aircraft! We arrived at this little air field, with half a dozen small privately owned planes parked up. ours was a piper warrior, her name was charlie pa-par foxtrot! it was rather comfy in the back seat & was like been in a small car.Rather jumpy in the air at times, especially when he was practicing his emergency landing maneuver ha! I understood then why they asked me if i was prone to air sickness! we flew over south west rocks & the views over the coast line were so picturesque! I kept a lookout for dolphins, but didn't spot any that time. Over all it was a fabulously different experience & felt privileged to get the opportunity. think we are going to church really early in the morning, so ill try & find a pay phone to maybe make some calls if i can find one, but if not you will have to call me! anyway to the people I'm not going to speak too, hope you all get everything your hearts desire for crimbo, that's if you have all been good boys & girls, cos Santa knows these things! happy xmas & new year from the land of oz! hohoho!!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Neely! that Murphy is a very naughty boy isn't he! tut! Well that's a bit of a bummer, that you didn't receive my email! i wont be getting any presents in time now! I emailed their address for mum so she could send me a parcel by air mail for Xmas.I sent one with a little bit of something for everyone. you can tell mum if shes stuck for what to buy me, id like some perfume or some makeup[Waterproof] mascara hint hint! ha! the address is-Brooke Perry care-of Hazeltons- 797 Armidale Rd kempsey 2440 NSW AUSTRALIA.They said they would forward the parcel to me where ever i am.Just tell her to give me a call if shes unsure what to do.Today Ive been shopping with Pam & had to get some antibiotics for her daughters sick horse, which as a bone infection in its jaw.its an old brood mare & i personally think it will have to be shot in the end, but we'll see how she reacts to the medication.her daughter is coming home for xmas thank god, cos i tried to administer the medicine by intra-muscular injection & the needle was hugh! i couldn't get it through the skin straight away & when i did she kept spinning around the poor thing! i felt quite queezy at one point with the blood, which isn't like me, so i called it a day. i think we are going to after wait for veronica to do it.At least i tried i suppose! Hi Bee its only me again, been christmas shopping all day, been so mad at Meadowhall got Rory everything he wants from the Ferrari shop, he is mad on Ferrari's. Going to get Paul to take him for a ride in his. Waiting for the weather to get a bit better cos the roads are a bit rough at the moment! Can't wait to see his face on christmas morning, got to video him, i think he will really appreciate what he gets this year. Dying to speak to you! going out with mum on my own this christmas, i think it will be nice to have to have a talk and a laugh with her on her own! Hi everyone! I'm so happy now Ive just read all your emails you have made my day! I replied to your last email auntie Ruth & spent ages writing it, but still dont no if you ever recieved it? Tell Naomi she should deffinatly do it & to get round her dad for her Galapagos funds he-he! That's a place i would like to see & I'm thinking of doing the whole S. American rainforest's thing myself one day.The tea tree doesn't smell like you think it does & looks like a small Xmas tree. It can be used it for so many different things,its wonderful stuff! . I cleaned paddy the poodles ears out with it, after is much needed bath! He as an ear infection & the family are so busy, he was getting neglected every time he passes i smell tea tree wafting from his lugs instead of rotten bodies ha! yeah I'm spending Xmas with the family, but xmas day i think their planning on going to stay in log cabins somewhere over the new year, so i need to quickly make plans when I'm going to Byron Bay. Good morning to you (hairy canal water rat who lives in the Australian out backs) Sorry to bother you again but now I know that I can write to you whenever I like I won't be leaving you alone. Just bare with me with my typing skills as I haven't been on a computer since I did office studies at school and even then after two years I didn't know how to log on in my exam. I just got back from up north which was lovely,all I've done is eat and sleep and go for walks with michael in the woods. Las vegas was brilliant but very loud and after a few days you want to come back to reality as its a one big play ground there. I went on a really scary ride there which really messed my neck up as it banged us around like a ragdoll. You sound like your really getting into the Australian way of living, just don't forget to fill us all in with your adventures as we like to come along with the ride. Hiya transparent cave Bat!! Just spent the weekend with Lucy and michael!! Had a right laugh.. We met up with Katie Fletcher cos she has horses down at pottery pond and she said we could go and ride!! Picture this! Lucy was given her best horse, Jak, who is a show horse worth about £10,000, absolutly stunning and walks really proud.. I had to look over the stable door to see mine, he had been saved from the rag and bone man, covered in mud, this chunky grey cute thing 13hands with loads of hair... it went running off with me down blackymoor and my hat was as big as a bath so it fell over my eyes!! it was hilarious.. My legs are killing from hanging on.. I cant believe its xmas in a week.. This year has gone so fast.. Good to hear your with a family that likes animals this time, dont think i would have coped with the kangaroo thing.. Anyway love you lots x x x x x x Gemma xxx

Hi Brooke The family you're staying with sound great. Wow a tea tree plantation! I use it all the time - what does it smell like while its growing? Will you be with them for Christmas day? I thought you could drive? Naomi failed her driving test last month and is too skint to take it again before Christmas. She's really interested in your travels Brooke as she's thinking of going to Brazil and the rest of South America in March if she can raise the money!! Like you she's animal bonkers and would also like to visit the Galapagos Islands. She's also trying to pressure me into getting another Border Terrier but Alfie is more than a handful. He's soooo needy and cries like a baby for 5 minutes whenever you leave the house even if its only for an hour or two! We're not ready for christmas yet as Uncle Tad has just decided to decorate the front room so with only a week to go the house is upside down (nothing new there then!) It doesn't matter though it'll just be us and the dog. Joel has gone skiing today with his uni mates to the three valleys in France but apparently what with global warming there's no snow so I expect he'll just be in the bar practising his beer drinking! Anyway Brooke hope you have a wonderfully different Christmas there in Oz - can't wait to see some new photos - loved the ones with you on the horse - and we'll have a big family party at Grandmas when you get back so you can tell us all about Australia and make us all jealous.
