Hey guys,
We're hanging out in Central London today. We moved cities this morning from Kensington, to London City. Kensington was nice and compact with cafes and drugstores within walking distance, but very crowded and touristy. So we decided to move to a hotel called the Mad Hatter (my kinda style) about 10 minutes away from Big Ben and the London Eye. We'll stay here for two nights and take off for Cork, Ireland. We plan to really take in all the major sights tomorrow morning/afternoon and wrap up London for the time being. We went on the London Eye tonight and James used his mastery for photography and really captured the city life at night. Just beautiful, but we must haved walked miles and miles. At least 30 to 45 minutes worth of walking. It's alright though, I had a salad for lunch and had to walk it off.
Our hotel has a nice restaurant that reminds me of Charlie Browns down in Denver, and the bar is open 24 hours for residents (yay!). Although it throws a bone in my plans of waking up early and taking on the city tomorrow. We'll see how it works out.
Otherwise, nothing really exciting happened today. I almost got hit by a police car. I always thought the police were out for my safety, but apparently not if I'm in their way crossing a small quiet street. I think he even aimed for me honestly...
Hope all is well. Thanks for all the comments, they help bring a little bit of home across the pond!
Cheers!

Judy James, you keep up the great pics. They'd make great wall pics and postcards. Wonderful sights. Make sure your rest a bit.
Teagan Volesky OMG!!!!!! Please don't get hit by any moving cars and what nots. You are my favorite aunt. Uncle James please take some more pictures. They are wonderful and will make a great picture book for me one day. I love you both.
Sarah Volesky I miss you guys. I hope that you are having wonderful time. Make sure you do everything you want to. Love you both. James I hope your towel is working out.
Jay You know, I don't think the police are allowed to have guns in the UK. They must have to get pretty good at running you crooks down with their cars. Hope you are having a blast. Jimmy needs to see if he can make one of the palace guards flinch or something.
