So James and I had a busy day today. We made it a day of museums. The museums in which we visited are as follows:
1) The Albert and Victoria museum- sculptures and paintings and such...
2) The London Natural History museum- the basics that you would find in a museum of nature and history, plus 5,000 little rugrats runniong around and screaming
3) The science museum- fun gadgets and such
4) The portrait gallery- kinda boring artwork, mind you, this was 3 museums in, 5 hours of walking and a selective attention span at this point
5) Ripley's believe it or not museum- this was fun, with mindless things to look at. James and I went through a mirror maze which was a mind trip, then went through a spinning tunnel thing where I thought the room was spining and had to hold on to the rail for dear life, while James ws dancing along having the time of his life behind me. We have a good picure of him showing off and being the ham that he is...
Needless to say, I'm tired physically and mentally. The city of london is like NYC on crack. It feels like there is about 5 times the population over here than the busiest parts of NYC, and the pace of the locals here is scary. You get out of their way cause if you don't you could lose a limb. I really wonder what would happen if they didn't run down the escaltors and bolt past the gates. Would they really be all that late to their destination? It's very intersting. I was expecting London to be at a slower and more relaxed pace than the States, but after the madness I survived today, we look down right lazy and slow paced at home. I won't take that for granted anymore.
Cheers!

Jason Volesky Wait.....museums?! WHAT??? You know that they have PUBS there. Have a beer for me.
Judy Too much for me! Think I'll go back to bed. All of that makes me overstimulated and tired! Hmmm. Sounds great!
Bill It feels like London here today, cold and wet. Brooke with you being the guiding light it give James the ability to act his part. He would be hiding in the corner without your support. Have fun and a beer for me wouldn't hurt either.
