After an early start to the day we headed off on the coach to mt kinabalu national park. On the way we stopped off at a small village selling crafts, as we had only a small bag which was to be taken up to the mountain we didnt buy anything although we wanted to as everything was so pretty and amazingly cheap!! We had a chinese meal in the local resuraunt, between Bronya and Katie we shard chicken and vegetables with rice, sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken with 2 cokes the prce was 4 quid! what a bargain! We then arrived at our little lodges at the national park, there were three 2 bedded rooms per lodge with a little lounge and tv area, complimentary slippers and body wash, sewing kit etc! a bit of luxury there! We then went for a walk and apparently some of the people in our group said they had sen a snake! eeekkkk! We had to be up early for the big day (mountain climb) so we settled off to bed after tea for some sleep.
