Brenda's Travels
We were heading south towards Mile 0 and Key West today. After a quick breaky in the room Sean tried his hand at driving on the wrong side of the road as we headed along the overseas highway. After driving over the 7 mile bridge and passing through a few keys our first stop was the Bahia Honda State park which at $4.50 each to enter then only being able walk on 50 metres of the rail bridge was a bit of a rip off. Next we hoped to have more luck turning off on big pine key to spot some Key deer. After a walk around the blue hole, then the wildlife trails we had seen nothing but the circling vultures but on the way back the highway we managed to see a couple in the yard of a house although they didn't look quite a small as we expected.
