09/02/2012 Venice This morning we slept in until 9:30 and rushed down to breakfast (it finished at 10). Breakfast was very basic but did the job. 08/02/2012 Florence to Venice Today we were again up early to get an 8:30 train. I really need to stop booking them so early! We didn't leave until closer to 10:30 though as our train was cancelled when we arrived to the station and the one after was an hour later and was delayed by 45minutes. We had decided today we would to the Hop on Hop off bus around Florence as it is the best way to get around and see everything. 05/02/2012 Rome to Florence Today we were up and ready for another early train to head to Florence. The streets were so so slippery and very hard to walk on. The soft fluffy white snows had been pushed off the roads and streets over night and were covered in a layer of horrible slippery ice.
