Berlin

Today we decided the best way to see Berlin would be to do the Hop on Hop off tour for the day. It picked us up from outside our hotel, which was handy with how freezing it was outside. It was about minus 4 but because of the wind it felt a lot colder and chilled us to the bone very quickly! The commentary was very informative and useful to know what stops we would want to get off at. The first one was at the Brandaberg Gate. Second was to do some shopping for a charm for my bracelet and third was at Check Point Charlie. After three stops we decided that was enough and just sat on the bus for the afternoon looking at Berlin through the glass window of the bus!

That afternoon we decided we just wanted to defrost so went back to the hotel room and defrosted with our Burger King burgers.

The rest of the afternoon and night consisted of watching Prison Break and trying to keep warm. It was nice to have an afternoon of ease after some busy days!
