Disneyland
This morning we had a 9am flight up to Paris. At the airport we bought a bottle of Moet and Chandon Champaigne. We had planned to have a Champaigne breakfast for Valentines day but that didn't work out with the time of our flight so we had it with our dinner instead. We arrived at Paris just after 10am and caught a bus up to Disneyland, the bus ride was as long as our flight! There were mainly families on the bus and kids EVERYWHERE when we arrived at Disneyland. We both couldn't believe how busy it was and it was the winter season, we would not want to be there in the summer, ever!
After checking in we caught the free shuttle bus to Disneyland that was around the corner from our resort. Walking up towards Disneyland it has three entrances, the first to the left called Disney Village was full of shops, restaurants and cafes. Straight ahead was Walt Disney Studio Park and we had gone on over half of these rides by the time we left when everything was closing. Trav made me go on the Hollywood Tower Hotel ride and I nearly died! There was very little protection and you drop literally from top to bottom over and over, and that was supposed to be fun! Half of the time you are physically not even sitting on the seat, that's how little safety there is, oh and I lost my stomach on that ride, I don't think that's a bad thing but gee I was shaking for an hour afterwards!!
After wondering around for a while, a few other rides we decided to go and watch Moteurs action, which was a stunt show; and wow that was great! They really are tricky and very clever! Dad you would have enjoyed this but it was a lot like the one at movie world.
When we came out, everything was closing and we were starving so decided to head back on the shuttle. The restaurant was really busy so we decided to have a couple of drinks at the bar first and listen to the live band play romantic cute Disney songs before dinner.
Sweet dreams,
Bree and Trav
