Paris

We didn't sleep very well last night. We had breakfast with the stars booked in this morning at 7:30, we had been awake hours prior to this so we were up and ready. We waited for an hour and ate a small breakfast but breakfast was really really busy and we decided to skip and not wait for the stars to come.

We went back to our room and packed our bags and left, we had tickets to Disneyland but we were both feeling so crappy we didn't even want to go back, not even to go on our favourite rides!

The train station was at Disneyland so we just had to catch the shuttle to Disneyland and head on the train to get Paris.

It took about an hour to get to Paris and the train system was really hard to understand. You exit one side of the road and the station is called one thing but on the other side it is something different. From the train station we just got a taxi to our hotel. We had enough of the public transport systems by the time we had got to Paris and prefer to walk everywhere if we can help it!

After checking in, we googled where we could find car hire places as we had planned to hire a car and drive to Champaigne. The closest one was only 2km away however it did take a whole hour to find it!

As the following day was a public holiday in Paris and car rental places are closed on Saturday's, there was nothing at all available anywhere. From this, we decided to go get some lunch and look at tours to do. We got very yummy salad rolls for lunch and coffee from Starbucks and sat there and used the free internet to book our tour.

We got a little lost on the way back and ended up at a massive unreal shopping centre on the way back to our hotel. I realised I had left my jacket at Disneyland and had to get a new one to wear when we out somewhere nice.

As we were lost and didn't know our way back to the hotel, we decided to be daring and try and get a train back to the vicinity of our hotel. We had walked past a train station on the start of our walk so knew where we had to get off. All we had to do was to get on at the right station and platform…

Once we had achieved this we got some pizza for dinner and went back to the hotel, after walking 10 blocks in the wrong direction we retraced our steps and ate our now cold pizzas!
