Nice
This morning we were getting picked up at 8:45 for our tour of the French Riviera. We had breakfast before we left and got picked up by an eight-seater mini van. Our tour guide told us we were getting a full private tour; we were the only two for the day, awesome!!
Firstly we got a bit of a tour through Nice then onto Eze. It was located up a mountain and was a cool little medieval town with an unreal view over the ocean. It was also here we received a guided tour of a perfume factory.
Next stop was Monte Carlo and Monaco and wow what an experience this was! This place is unreal! It was luxurious, unique and picturesque. It is unbelievable the money in the area from the Bentley's, Ferrari's and Roles Roise's too the personal ships the size of hotels and the boutique chic shops with bodyguards standing out the front. Monaco is known for to be the safest city in the world and this was true, there were police at every corner.
Our tour guide was lovely and told us that if we had our passports we could get a Monaco stamp. We didn't have them but she drove us back to our hotel to get them and drove us back in the late afternoon. How nice! The pros to having a private tour!
After lunch we crossed the French/ Italian border to go and see the mutli multi millionaires yachts/ boats and ships we were told the largest one belonged to a Russian and was worth $500 million! Next it was onto Cannes where we got to see where the billionaires lived, there places were crazy!
Final stop for the day was Saint Paul
Sweet dreams,
Bree and Trav
