Well, where do I start? I haven't been keeping up much this past week because of how busy I've been. But I have a few minutes now, so I'll sum up some of the highlights.
I had a successful interview at a theatre called "The Space." [http://www.space.org.uk/]
They offered me an internship and I'll be taking it! It's this amazing place that does a little bit of everything: dance, standup, theatre productions, and cabaret shows. It only seats about 120 people, and its in this tiny chapel that was built in the 1800s. The altar is mostly used as the stage, and the choir loft: the balcony. I'll be doing a little of everything to keep this place running, so I'm really looking forward to being a part of their success.
I saw a play last night for my theatre class. It was called "A Dissappearing Number," by an experimental acting troop called Complicite. It was an amazing experience. I've never seen such a play where the technical management was so crisp, clean, and just shockingly different. They used a soundtrack and lighting techniques that just gave you goosebumps. And the funny thing about it was that it was about MATH. It's very hard to describe. Some pictures and info can be found at

I'm actually going again tonight with a few friends from John Carroll because it was so good.
Well what I didn't talk about was going to Windsor Castle, which was amazing. I never really understood the whole Monarchy system they have here in the UK, but seeing the pure history of these castles and governmental buildings really put it in perspective for me. The inside was just incredible... its too bad they didn't allow cameras. Giant dining rooms, bedrooms where Napoleon used to sleep when he visited (and was friendly), armories, painting rooms, ball rooms... just unnecessarily valuable stuff in this place.
I've been forced to get to know my way around London, and although the walking is pretty rough, I find that the more I get lost, the better I learn! I found a pancake shop, a place that sells 2 meals for 8 pounds, and a pub right around the corner that has Carlsburg for 1 pound 50 pense. I'll try to get some good photos of "the space" for later.
Cheers!
