Today we did a whole lot of activities so that's what I'm going to write:
Moose searching.
Strawberry picking (with the roof of car open we found them by the sweet smell of strawberries!) ($3 a box!).
Walks in pine forests.
Walked around the lake. Found so many baby frogs and tadpoles (my first time seeing and touching them!) they were everywhere!
Literally everyone was strange, in their own way, at the youth hostel (including mum and dad, but of course not me)!
Bella.
Mom here now - not so sure that last comment was totally correct Isabella! Ha! The lady that managed the hostel was very talkative. The Englishman who spoke with a very upper class English accent in the morning and an Indian accent after a few drinks in the evening. The young lady called Hana who wouldn't look at David and had bad eyesight, so sat at the table writing in Japanese with her face really close to her book. She also brewed a disgusting smelling tea for a few hrs every night and said it was her medicine!!??
In the evening we took the convertible for a drive with the roof off of course. Went on a moose hunt, saw some beautiful scenery but no moose. Did see a deer though, in full view!
A great day!!
Mom signing off.
