Took a day to drive from Conway back to Boston in our lovely convertible. Went through Portland (stopped for a yummy lunch overlooking the port) and a gorgeous little village called Kennebunkport - bought 2 little figurines of kids with bucket's and spades for myself and one for Nan. Isabella got stuck in another sweet shop and bought two Jelly Belly Jellybeans of each flavour! There were loads!!
Drove along the coast of Maine as advised by the lady in the tourist information Centre and it was a really beautiful drive! We saw the lovely coast, the green countryside & the really pretty American weatherboard mansions - really stunning! Could live here.
Arrived back in Boston at around 8.30pm - our last drive in our fantastic convertible! Stayed at Fairfield Inn Hotel near the airport so we could get to the airport early the next morning. Turned out to be a really nice hotel for such a last minute booking. Bella & David had a swim in the pool before sleep.
