reluctantly awoke at about 8am, jumped in the shower and packed my bag up. i tried to wake eddy to tell him i was leaving, but he just sort of grunted and rolled over clutching a bottle of vodka! tried to book into the neighbours tour with the girls but it was fully booked so il have to do it next monday instead.

checked out eventually, they took about 20 minutes to find the ID i gave them as a deposit on my key! shoved my pack in a locker and went out into the city.

i felt like a relaxing afternoon so i bought 2 gossip magazines, a sandwich and some water and headed up to Flagstaff Gardens, a park not far from the hostel. I spent 2 hours there, writing my diary, reading and doing crosswords! Then i met Tom n Ed n Ryan for a coffee nearby, where the boys had cooked breakfasts! We all decided to go to the cinema, so we wandered down to Melbourne Central to see Smokin' Aces - which is so good! its quite a boy film, lots of guns and stuff, but i really enjoyed it! Eddy didn't see much of it, he spent most of his afternoon in the loo....oh dear.

After the film I went to get my bags from the hostel, said my goodbyes and got a tram down to Port Melbourne. I cut it very fine but i managed to check in to the ferry in time! once on board i had a drink then went to the upper deck, and watched the sunset over Melbourne as we left the port. Unfortunatly my camera was being annoying so i only got one picture!

I decided to spoil myself and went for a nice meal at the onboard restaurant, where I had oysters poached in chilli, coriander and soy, followed by seafood linguine, and a golden syrup dumpling!! it all came to about 14quid!! not bad really!

after the meal i decided to call it a night and went to sleep in seat 503.
