I woke at dawn, felt something crawling inside my swag, had a quick look but couldn't see anything so put it down to pins and needles and went back to sleep. Drove to King's Canyon...its absolutely incredible! Did the 6km Rim Walk, which starts on what the guides fondly call 'Heart Attack Hill'! its very steep and made out of rocky steps, and takes you to the top of the ridge. We all survived that, then carried on round the edge of the canyon, just taking in the views. We were up around 5:30 this morning to go and catch the sunrise over Ulura and The Olgas, wasn't as good as sunset but still very pretty! Did the other half of the base of Uluru guided by a ranger, so learnt a bit more about the aboriginal culture there and 'handback' of Uluru to the native people.
